Le Corbusier’s Carpenter Center ramp was carefully shored and protected during construction. Architect: Perkins+Will Bell Tower & Gateway Installed at Shantou University in Guangdong China, it is a slender stainless steel structure holding a traditional Chinese bell above a freestanding concrete wall, & survived super typhoon Usagi. Designer: Maya Lin Studio Native Plant Garden The new installation at the New York Botanical Garden features two water basins, a wood promenade with a bridge and metal walkways, and two pavilions.
